ISO

1) Shooting at a high ISO at a sporting event makes it easier to capture a photo in low lighting without having to use flash.

2) Use a low ISO whenever possible, especially in good lighting, to capture the most detailed image possible.

3) Use a higher ISO when there's not enough light to quickly capture your image or to freeze motion without flash.

Aperture

1) Aperture is compared to the human eye.
2) The smaller the aperture f-stop, the larger the aperture of the lens.
3) Aperture directly effects depth of field because a larger f-stop number will bring the foreground and background into focus while a smaller f-stop number will keep the focus on the foreground.
